Today I have lazed about in the atypical weather of the UK - it's amazingly humid and beautiful weather - in my garden with my mum. I woke up at 9am and shrugged straight into a bandeau and shorts as if I were sunbathing on holiday, set up a lounging chair and fell asleep. I've actually tanned from the few hours I was out there, I'm pretty happy about that :-)
Whilst reading the much raved about Fifty Shades Triology - I am now on the second book (Fifty Shades Darker) I ate an endless amount of exotic fruit that in truth I could actually live off, love cherries and watermelon and raspberries, I could easily go on!
Anyway, I had taken enough of the heat and decided to shower and laze about some more in my room, but I felt like pampering myself for no apparent reason whatsoever, so I decided to do my make-up knowing I'd have as much time as I'd want to spend on it - usually I'm always in a rush. It turned out really well I think, I'm please anyway.
I first moisturised, then applied Collection 2000 Naturally Matt Foundartion - Almond 4. After I then touch up blemishes with Collection 2000. I use No7 Sunkissed Bronzing Pearls to add (stating in the products name) a sunkissed glow to my face. I then use an eyebrow pencil which I have only lately began to use, I don't like the "I HAVE TOTALLY DRAWN MY EYEBROWS ON" look, just a simple fill in to highlight your brows and show the contours of your face better. And for this I use Lavel - Dark Brown, it was only a cheapy. After recently purchasing the MUA Heaven & Earth palette I applied this along with the Topshop Smokey Eye Palette - Tawny. I then rummaged around and found my fake eyelashes, I have a thing about eyelashes, where I couldn't wear my night lashes in the day and look ridiculously over the top, these are very natural and fit perfectly.
Excuse my wet hair, as much as I'd love my hair to be so much longer and thicker it still creates the beach wave effect which I really love. However , I never wear my hair down on its own without my extensions, which is actually pretty sad, but I hate the length and the thinness off it :-( boo!
(As I created this post on Tuesday and have not yet posted it, a few short hours after this I got asked to go out for a celebratory meal with my boyfriend and his family to recognise a special date, 5 years after the transplant my boyfriend gave to his sister to cure her cancer. It was emotional, but amazing.)
Love Abbie
