I have been wanting to have matte nails longer than I can think back to! I have been wondering so long as to how I can achieve the look. And here it is, after months and months of speculating, even asking professional nail technicians when I have been for my nails geling and professionally manicured and they were clueless. We came up with a few ideas about buffing etc, but I stumbled upon this little beauty in my local Boots. It's by Rimmel and gives a matte finish to your nails that lasts up to ten days, which is great! It was £4.95 which is a tad expensive for nail varnish however, I have wanted this effect for so long I had to buy it! I used Rimmel Black Cab, let it dry and then applied a coat of the matte finish and it just transformed in around 10 seconds ( a little like the crackle ) it was fun to watch haha! Unfortunately, I have three of my acrylic nails missing from a previous which have fell off at parties so I tried it out on one, now I don't want to take it off but it will look odd. I'm going to glue my acrylics back on and once I get bored of them, my nails will look like this forever and the tip I will then use the original black so it's like a black matte french manicure with shiny black tip! Can't wait!
Do you have any other suggestions as to how I could use this amazing finish?
